Mr. Bartoli’s talk will compare academic and corporate approaches to security education, discuss the strengths and drawbacks of teaching security as a single-class offering in undergraduate Computer Science programs, and how to make the course reflective of what security practitioners do. Additional topics will include how to put together an effective security lab on a budget, and how security research has been stolen from academia.
