Peter Bartoli, CTO
Peter Bartoli is the founder and
CTO of Consolvant. Prior to founding Consolvant, he was
the Technical Director of the Security Analysis Division
of SAIC's Secure Business Solutions Group (SBSG), where
he developed the business methodology and
internal training program used by 150 engineers
worldwide to analyze organizational, physical, and
technical data security at SAIC's customers. Also at
SAIC, he was the head developer and software architect
for the Department of Defense's Public Key
Infrastructure (PKI) leading up to its first deployment,
and a key driver of SBSG's growth from a $1M business in
1997 to $60M in annual revenue in the year 2000.
Over the last ten years in IT
security, Mr. Bartoli has worked in all aspects of the field:
wide area systems administration, sales, marketing,
proctoring courses and
certification programs, rendering opinions about
computer intrusions and patent suits in Federal court,
cryptographic glueware development. He has performed nearly
one hundred penetration tests. His past customers have
included energy and utility companies, health care
providers, automobile manufacturers, internet service
providers, embedded device manufacturers, retail chains,
mass media outlets, government entities,
multinationals and the United Nations.
Mr. Bartoli is
a graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. in Computer Science.
